My name is Rob Maxim, a junior, from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  I am currently doing a double major between International Affairs and Economics.

In 2008-2009 I served as the SA Senate Secretary, and this spring I have begun work on the Innovation Task Force that the GW administration appointed this school year.  I have a deep understanding of the Student Association and its structures and limitations, however my experience with the SA has been only a small part of my GW experience.

In my nearly three years at GW, I have been involved in a wide range of student organizations, everything from Model UN to Greek Life, from giving tours to serving on the Colonial Cabinet.  I have worked on campus, interned, taken political campaign trips, and studied abroad.  I've lived the university experience that every student strives for in their four years here.  In my time here, however, I have found areas that GW is lacking in, or can improve, red tape that shouldn't exist, and inefficient processes.  In running for Student Association EVP, I hope to use my experience as a typical GW student, and couple it with my knowledge of the SA and the administration to effectively improve the lives of all GW students, undergraduate and graduate.
